What to Do After a Storm Damages Your Roof?
After a storm damages your roof, it's important to act quickly and safely. Start by inspecting the damage from the ground looking for fallen branches, missing shingles, or visible leaks. Take detailed photos of the damage to help with your insurance claim. If it's safe, temporarily cover any exposed areas with a tarp to prevent further water damage. However, if you are unable to do any of the above, we would be happy to visit your property to assist with the damages and help you gather the necessary documentation for your insurance claim.

After inspecting and documenting the damage we'll assist you in contacting your insurance company to begin the claim process. We'll work directly with your insurance and the assigned adjuster to schedule a formal inspection. Once that's done, we'll submit the estimate for repairs or replacement to your insurer. They will review the claim and notify you of the coverage amount. Once approved, we'll schedule the repairs and get your property back to it's pre-damage state.

Before your roof replacement begins, there are a few steps you can take to prepare your home. Weak spots may include loose or damaged shingles, broken seals, or cracked flashing that could allow water to penetrate during storms.
